تعرض موقع اليوتوب قبل قليل لخلل تقني تسبب في تعطل الموقع عن العمل ، حيث لم يتمكن المستخدمين من الوصول إلى قنواتهم الشئ الذي تسبب في ذعر كبير وخوف باعقادهم أنه قد أغلقت قنواتهم ، ولم يقتصر الأمر على هذا المشكل بل أن تحميل الصفحة في اليوتوب يتسبب في إظهار رسالة مضمونها أن سيرفيرات الموقع لا تعمل ، بحيث لم يتمكن المستخدمين من الوصول إلى قائمة أحداث المشتركين وبعض الأقسام الأخرى في الموقع ، ويحتاج المستخدمين إلى عمل تحديث للصفحة في كل مرة للتغلب على المشكلة .
